Up to 3–6 months without stabilizer, 1–2 years with stabilizer; rotate seasonally.

How many gallons do I need?

For a 3–5kW generator at 8 hrs/day, plan on ~3–5 gal/day; store safely away from living areas.

Outdoors only, 20+ feet from doors/windows; never in a garage; use a CO alarm.

When in doubt, throw it out; most refrigerated foods are unsafe after 4 hours above 40°F.
